I'm probably simply misunderstanding the concept of Lightroom.
What I want to do:
On a road trip coming up soon, I had hoped I could upload each days photos to the cloud, thus save space on my Surface Pro.
I can access these files, edit etc, then save a select few to my hard drive.
This is what happens:
I can upload images to the cloud, even straight from my SD card ... but Lightroom creates a folder on my drive, mirroring the images I just uploaded to the cloud.
If I delete the folder on my drive (as mentioned, to save space) after a time, Lightroom recreates and fills the folder!
Useless for my needs. The albums o the cloud DO NOT have 'Keep a local copy' ticked.
In short, can I upload daily images to the cloud, and leave no trace on my laptop?
Thanks in advance for any help!
